Your theme preference is stored locally in your browser (localStorage), not in a cookie. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.

3. Recipients

The data is accessible to the publisher and to its hosting provider (Scaleway SAS). When you enable a connection, data is exchanged with the platform concerned (Twitch, Google/YouTube, StreamLabs, TipeeeStream, StreamElements, Ko-fi, NineStore) according to your choices. We do not sell your data.

Twitch

YouTube

Our YouTube connection uses the YouTube API Services. By connecting your YouTube channel, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and the data received by Google is processed in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. We only read the identity of your own channel and your own live chat, in order to detect Super Chats, Super Stickers and memberships and add time to your timer. Ordinary chat messages are neither stored nor used. You can revoke our access at any time from the Google security settings, or from the Connections page of this site.

From a Super Chat or a membership we keep only the public display name and the amount, to credit the matching time, show it in your history and thank the supporter. When you disconnect YouTube, we immediately revoke our access at Google, erase the token and your channel identity, and remove the display name attached to those events: only an amount and a date remain, with nobody identifiable. Deleting your account erases everything, and you can also request that deletion by email.

On the YouTube side, we access only two things: your channel's public identity (its ID and its name, shown on your Connections page) and the events of your own live chat during your streams. For each Super Chat, Super Sticker or membership we store the type of event, the public display name of its author, the amount or the number of memberships gifted, and the date. We access nothing else: not your videos, not your audience statistics, not your subscribers, not the content of chat messages. This data is refreshed during your live streams, kept for as long as your account exists so that it feeds your history and your statistics, anonymised as soon as you disconnect YouTube, and deleted when you delete your account or ask us to. It is never shared with third parties, sold, or used for advertising purposes.

4. Transfers outside the EU

Some providers (e.g. Twitch, Google) may process data outside the European Union; those transfers are covered by the appropriate safeguards published by these providers (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

5. Retention period

Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Activity events are kept to provide you with the history of your sessions, until you delete them or delete your account. Tokens are deleted when you disconnect a source. You can request full deletion at any time.

6. Security

Third-party tokens and keys are stored encrypted; all access happens over HTTPS. We apply reasonable measures to protect your data.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Exercise them at : show e-mail. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL) (cnil.fr).

8. Viewer data

Usernames coming from your stream events are processed to run your timer and your goals. As a streamer, you act as controller towards your own community for the public display you choose; Marathon-Timer only processes this data to provide you with the service.
